Wow. It’s been a while since I’ve written. Life has been busy.
Since Friday, I have been dog/house sitting for a friend. My furry friend is an 18 month old Cockapoo (cocker spaniel/poodle mix). He is cute, and a pretty good boy. He sure is different than the last dog I spent time with. This dog never seems to get tired! He’s a runner, which is cool. He and I went for a 6 mile run last night, and when we got home? He wanted to play!
I was introduced to Reiki last night. “Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. My friend is training to become a Reiki administrator (??Not sure what they’re called??), so she gave me a treatment last night. The past year has caught up with me BIG time, and I definitely am feeling the effects. Seems my “life force” is low. She went through all my chakras, and mended them. 🙂 I don’t think one session is going to fix me, but I am definitely open to more Reiki. I will say, that I was uber-relaxed last night, and fell asleep without any sleep-aid; the first time in a long, long time. 🙂
I am in week 10 of marathon training. Week 10 of a 20 week training program. I ran the most I have ever run, 14 miles, on Sunday. And, I felt the best I had felt in a long, long time. Must have been the power of girls’ night the night before. 🙂
Spring is here…my favorite time of year: warmer, longer days, tulips, and sunshine. My number one priority these days is taking care of ME, and it’s a really big job…I am high maintenance. 🙂
